This January, McCray Lumber and Millwork traveled to Orlando, FL to attend the 2017 International Builder’s Show to discover and learn more about the newest industry products available to our customers.
The NAHB International Builder’s Show (IBS) is an annual event that brings together all of the world’s most important industry suppliers and manufacturers, and puts them under one roof to showcase their latest trends and products. Whether relating to wood, concrete, stone, or brick, the building materials on display at IBS are the trends homes all over the globe will start embracing this year.
Covering over 565,000 net square feet of exhibits and more than 1,500 manufacturers and suppliers, it’s no wonder that IBS is the place where great ideas emerge. As the largest light construction show in the world, the 2017 show brought in over 60,000 guests from over 100 countries, including McCray Lumber and Millwork from right here in Kansas City.
Over McCray’s time at IBS this year, reps had the opportunity to tour the displays and take in all of the incredible products being showcased. From new decking advancements to the trend of the Tiny Home, McCray Lumber and Millwork was on the ground floor of the action, taking notes, and making plans to help better our customers’ upcoming projects.
Along with getting to experience the exhibits of this year’s International Builder Show, McCray Lumber and Millwork was able to meet and build relationships with many industry leaders. These leaders include representatives from LP, Boise, Huber, TREX, Andersen, Masonite and many more. These valuable conversations allowed McCray to be able to ask questions for our customers about the year ahead in the building industry, and come up with new and improved ways to bring you quality products.
The 2017 NAHB International Builder’s Show in Orlando, FL brought together the best of the best, and McCray Lumber and Millwork was able to learn from those incredible manufacturers about what products will help our customers the most in the year to come. A great pleasure to attend, IBS was a success, and we look forward to sharing what we learned with you and your upcoming projects.
